Another plume of dust blew off the coast of Sudan over the Red Sea on July 25, 2006. The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) flying onboard NASA’s Terra satellite took this picture the same day. In this image, the dust appears as a beige plume that sweeps over the Red Sea in a clockwise direction toward the south.
