Wildflowers on the Carrizo Plain

After a wet winter, an explosion of wildflowers have emerged in Southern California. On March 18, 2019, the Operational Land Imager (OLI) on Landsat 8 captured this image of wildflowers blanketing green hillsides and stream valleys near the town of New Cuyuma.
